Each year members are asked to complete underwriting exposure surveys for the various excess and reinsurance carriers and pools. The member information is also used to calculate the annual cost allocations used in PERMA budgeting. As such, PERMA developed an Underwriting portal to simplify the process for members to update their data annually in a single interface. This interface replaces the multiple applications that were previously sent to members for completion.
