PERMA staff, defense attorneys, consultants, and TPAs are developing claim “Lessons Learned” documents for the members. Documenting the lessons learned, circulating them, and revisiting them will ensure the same mistake is not made again and help other members implement best risk management practices. The documents are designed to briefly outline a claim and provide practical tips and recommendations for the members to avoid the same situation.
PERMA believes valuable insights and knowledge gained from past experiences can be applied to improve the members’ claim experience. The examples provided will reflect both positive and negative experiences because we can learn from both successes and failures.
