Litigation, Insurance & Tort Liability Program: Active Shooter/K9 Police

Location: School Insurance Authority, 9800 Old Placerville Road, Sacramento, CA 95827

Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department will be presenting possible real life situations to explain what training goes into the preparation for an event and what they do when they encounter a shooter. Carl Fessenden, Attorney from Porter Scott,  will explain the legal investigation/defense of this particular type of case. There will be a K-9 handler and K-9 present to discuss their role on scene of an active event and perform a demonstration of how they use the canines during a takedown situation.
