Claims Adjuster

PERMA, a California Joint Powers Authority (JPA) made up of 32 public entities including cities, transit districts, and special districts, is seeking a Claims Adjuster. This at-will, full-time position is responsible for managing a caseload of less complex liability claims. The Claims Adjuster investigates, evaluates, and negotiates settlement of primarily third-party property claims.

Salary Range: $77,624 to $104,024 annually (not reflected in that range are 2.9% compensation schedule increases, effective the first full pay period in July)

Retirement: CalPERS Classic 2.7% @ 55, PEPRA 2% @ 62
